In this webinar, Alison will share a series of compelling case studies where EmoLED Blue Light Therapy was utilised to treat some of the most stubborn and
hard-to-heal wounds resulting from radiation therapy. Through these cases, she will demonstrate how understanding a device’s mechanism of action can expand its use beyond conventional applications, ultimately benefiting a broader range of patients. Meet the Presenter

Dr. Alison Vallejo

RN, Wound Care, PhD | Visiting Fellow, School of Science, Engineering and Technology, University of the Sunshine Coast Teaching Associate, Surgery Monash Health, School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health, Faculty of Medicine Nursing and Health Sciences

Alison is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience in community nursing, specialising in wound care for the past decade. With a post-graduate diploma in wound management and a Doctor of Philosophy in wound care, Alison is a credentialed wound clinician passionate about evidence-based client care. Her research has focused on wound biofilms and novel therapies, including ultrasonic debridement and topical antiseptics. Alison’s extensive experience and dedication to wound care make her an invaluable resource for healthcare professionals seeking to expand their knowledge and skills in this critical area of practice.
