Webinar: Low-Level Laser Therapy Insights into Mitochondrial Function

March 12 @ 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM AEDT

You are invited to Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) Insights into Mitochondrial Function Objective: This webinar will explore the effects of LLLT on the electron transport chain and how clinicians use red, green, and violet lasers to treat certain conditions. Date:  Tue, 12 March 2024 Time: 7.00pm – 8.00pm (AEDT, Sydney Time) Cost: Free Webinar. A certificate of attendance will be provided for CPD records. Who Should Attend: Allied Health Professionals wanting to increase their understanding of Low-Level Laser Therapy in Clinical Practice   About the Webinar Join expert lecturer, Dr Brett Jarosz, as he delves into the fascinating realm of Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) and its profound effects on mitochondrial function. In this webinar, Brett will shed light on the intricate relationship between LLLT wavelengths and the electron transport chain within mitochondria. Discover why clinicians opt for red, green, or violet lasers, and gain insights into how each specific wavelength can effectively treat various conditions such as osteoarthritis, neurodegenerative diseases, ageing, antimicrobial effects, and chronic pain.   Learn About:
  1. LLLT Wavelengths & Mitchondria
  2. Impairment of Electron Transport Chain & Mitochondrial Dysfunction
  3. Which Wavelength is Best and its Evidence-Based Therapeutic Effects
    • OsteoArthritis
    • Neurodegenerative Diseases
    • Ageing
    • Anti-Microbial Effects
    • Chronic Pain
Guest Speaker: Brett Jarosz (BAppSc(CompMed), MClinChiro, ICSC, PGradDipSportsChiro, DACNB, CertPT, ASCA Level 1, FICC, FAICE) Fellow Sports & Exercise Chiropractor (AICE 2019), Neurorehabilitation Chiropractor (AICE 2022) Brett Jarosz is an ACA endorsed Fellow Sports & Exercise Chiropractor (AICE 2019) who consults in private practice in Melbourne, Australia. He has a strong practice interest in athletic and sporting injuries; neuro-orthopaedic rehabilitation; corrective exercise strategies; and optimizing athletic performance. Besides Sports & Exercise chiropractic, Brett also has practice interests in clinical neuroscience and rehabilitation, particularly concussion and persistent symptoms post-concussion (post-concussion syndrome), as well as ME/CFS (including post viral syndrome) For the past decade, Brett lectured within the Chiropractic degrees at RMIT University in Melbourne, and currently maintains a role as a lecturer for a number of post-graduate education programs including: The International Federation of Sports Chiropractic (FICS); and Functional Neuro-Orthopedic Rehabilitation (FNOR). In 2017, he commenced a position with the World Surf League, working as a part of the allied heath team at the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach.   To Register, click Here
